Our Library

Welcome to the library.  Every class has a 40 minute visit weekly when the children can exchange their books; spend time learning to care for books; find out how a library works and enjoy some reading and stories.  Each classroom has a selection of library books which is regularly updated and available to the children during class time, they also choose one or two books (depending on their year) to take home and enjoy.  We open the library at lunchtimes for children who wish to have a quiet reading space, and we have year six students helping in our library in a leadership role.
