I consider it a real privilege to be your Principal.  

I am incredibly proud to lead your school and support your children as they grow during their time with us.  

Fitzroy School, has a current roll of 420 children, we are a contributing school with students up to year 6. Our 17 classes are exciting and vibrant places to be, our teachers skilled and dedicated and our children responsive and great ambassadors for our school. 

As a community we celebrate and respond to the uniqueness of every Fitzroy family learner.  Together we live and model the Fitzroy Family values of excellence, integrity, respect and resilience.  Through a love of learning our children are confident, connected and culturally proactive.

Fitzroy School is an integral part of the thriving suburb of Fitzroy, New Plymouth. The location is already well known for its beautiful beach and the Fitzroy Village shopping area. 

With our supportive parent and community body this makes up the "Fitzroy Family".
