What's Happening in Room 9?

Welcome to Mrs. Looney's and Mr. Pillette's class. We are a Year 6 class full to the brim with terrific kids who are bristling with enthusiasm and have a thirst for learning. Please take a regular look at our class blog (and leave a comment) because it's there that we post all about the exciting things we get involved with.

Welcome back everyone for Term 2,. We look forward to continuing our class blog with occasional updates of what we are involved in during the year, so please take a look to keep up with the news. Leave a comment if you like, we appreciate feedback.

Our topic for Term 2 is a science based theme - SYSTEMS. We will be concentrating our inquiry on THE SOLAR SYSTEM which some of us already have lots of knowledge and ideas about. We will look at the different elements that make up the Solar System and how they interact with eachother and more importantly how they affect us on Earth. We will also look at the systems that make our planet what it is.

Lots of sporty things are planned for this Term including inter-school sports days with our neighbouring schools as well as our annual AWE Swimming programme. It's a busy Term for us once again.
